The hymn “Dar-te-ei a Mestra”, the official anthem of the IX International Congress of Mary Help of Christians, was recently presented and acts as a symbol of connection between all participants.

With lyrics by Father Simão Cruz, SDB and music by António Ferreira, it presents Mary as Mother and Protector, who guides the paths of the Salesian Family and all its children.

Making reference to João Bosco’s “Nine Year’s Dream”, which also serves as inspiration for the theme of the Congress itself – it transports us, thanks to the images presented in the video clip, through the different Salesian works, spread across our country, which tell, all of them, with the protection of Mary Help of Christians.

The anthem, which reflects the essence of this important moment, and functions as a source of motivation and guidance, is interpreted in the official languages of the International Congress, promoting unity among all participants.
